ALUMINUM KIT
Aluminum is a fantastic material for drum building. Its naturally dry and has a “Pre-Eq’d” quality to it. It’s at home in just about any genre, it records like a dream and it sounds incredible in the room. We all know that classic “hollow pop” sound that makes it so legendary in snare drums, wait until you hear Aluminum Kicks and Toms :)
Aluminum is the best bang for the buck in a kit build. It makes a kit that’s very “alive” and projects very well. With its great low end, naturally scooped mids and dry open top, Aluminum just naturally sounds awesome in person and under a mic.
Its also about the same weight as a traditional wooden kit so its easy to gig.
